As stated in previous posts, an IEP is an individualized education program that is designed for one student.
An IEP should make considerations for assistive technology when the goals and objectives are not being met. As talked about in previous posts, assistive technology is any service that directly assists an individual with a disability in the section, or acquisition.
Considerations should be made off the students present level and academic performance. Also, the team should determine the student's functional capability to perform a task across different environments. They should identify appropriate supports and services including assistive technology.
