Adapted keyboard

 As talked about in Chapter 8 in our textbook, adapted keyboards can come in many different types. These types could include expanded keyboard, mini-keyboards, one-handed keyboards, on-screen keyboards, and customizable.  Students usually have characteristics similar to poor motor control, cognitive deficits, cannot use a keyboard, and need modifications to standard overlays. These assistive technology tools should be placed in a students IEP.
